Wenzhou University Intelligent Lock Research Institute is a professional and application-oriented scientific research institute jointly established by Wenzhou University and the People’s Government of Ouhai in September 2019. It is responsible for the operation and management of "Zhejiang Intelligent lock Industry Innovation Service Complex".

WENZHOU UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF INTELLIGENT LOCK has 21 full-time staff, 18 part-time research personnel, 25 industrial upstream and downstream academic and engineering application experts. Currently, there are over 5000 square meters of scientific research rooms and 310 sets of related equipment, including 212 sets of equipment with a unit price of over 50000 yuan, with a total price of over 18 million yuan.

With lock enterprises such as VOC, Zhong Zheng and InTE, we have declared three major municipal research projects, namely NB-IoT based optical box intelligent lock system, multi-scale low power face recognition intelligent lock key technology research and development, and security intelligent lock research based on Internet of Things authentication negotiation mechanism.

Among them, low power face recognition intelligent lock system has been applied by two enterprises, Weiosi and Inte. The first batch of production is about 4,500 sets.
